This item was well worth my money. I needed to carry prescriptions thru swimming in the ocean and everything stayed dry and intact

It is a ziplock in a velcro pouch.
Not what I was expecting. Five stars because I think it is well made. You have two Velcro roll overs, then it opens to TWO zip locks. It is water resistant but not waterproof if you immerse in water. I got it for kayaking to keep money and id cards drier. These are things that can survive if dunked. Hope the review helps.

Works for me with some added security.
I have had this bag since 2014 and I use it to snorkel and freedive (to only about 25 ft deep) HOWEVER I triple seal everything with, new each year, Alosak dry bags before I put everything inside. I can fit iPhone (in a bulky waterproof case from lifeproof) hotel key, id, cash and credit card. Just remember to remove as much air as you can. Never have to worry about petty theft while I am in the water since I travel alone I found this to be a must have item. Would work by itself for swimming but for submersion I like to be extra careful. The buckle is strong and secure.
